I am passionate about food. I live and breathe food!
I’m originally from Brazil but have lived in New York City since 2000. The first thing that struck me when I arrived here, and which has never ceased to amaze me since, is the immense diversity of cultures and the resulting culinary diversity one finds in the city’s restaurants, markets and even street carts. New York is a foodie’s paradise.
Living in New York City gave me the courage and capacity to fulfill my lifelong dream: to become a professional chef. And so my journey began at the best professional culinary school in the city, the famous French Culinary Institute (now the International Culinary Center).
After graduating from the Institute, I was fortunate to be able to work at one of the best catering halls in town and was then able to work at a number of great restaurants in the city, where I continued to learn the ins and outs of this wonderful art.
I feel very lucky to have found my passion and wish the same for everybody. It’s my pleasure to share my passion with you.
